About Me
Adding a unique touch of class to restaurants, hotels, private venues and wedding ceremonies, I have been providing professional background-style piano entertainment for over 12 years. My growing repertoire consists of familiar easy listening classics, ranging from contemporary pop to 17th century Celtic Airs. At a very young age, I discovered my ability to play piano by ear. Having thrown my books aside (against my teachers best wishes), I began learning to play the songs I heard around me - the songs that appealed to me. Over the years, I have never regretted my decision to teach myself. Today, I am fortunate to have developed a style of my own and a sincere passion to play.
Experience
During the past several years, I have had the pleasure of providing regular piano entertainment for a variety of high-end functions throughout HRM and surrounding area, including: Casino Nova Scotia, Blind Date With a Star, Sherlock's Piano Bar, Hamachi House Restaurant, Ducky's on The Waterfront, celebrity charity events and uncountable private venues.
My Music
While my genre of music remains well-varied, some of the selections from my repertoire include familiar classics from the following artists:
Elton John, Billy Joel, Norah Jones, Blue Rodeo, John Denver, Michael Buble, Frank Mills...and a vast collection of Celtic arrangements that add a distinctive Maritime appeal.
